Last week I asked all of you How can the state of Colorado help reduce insurance costs?  The real estate pros have spoken and as you can see from the chart above, the most selected response is that  the state of Colorado needs to stay out of the Colorado Insurance marketplace to keep prices from going from bad to worse

What did real estate pros say  about how to reduce insurance costs in Colorado?

I was actually a bit surprised that 17% felt that a bigger push for a public insurance option was the best solution even after we have seen disastrous effects in California from the same proposal.  On the flip side 67% felt the legislature should either stay out of the insurance marketplace and/or there is nothing the legislature can do one way or another to solve the insurance crisis in Colorado.

Key insights on how Colorado can reduce insurance rates

Thank you everyone for your participation and insights in my survey.     My key takeaway from this survey is that Colorado is in a tough spot with insurance with the majority thinking that the legislature needs to stay out of the insurance marketplace .    We will get to see how this all shakes out as our legislature continues to think that the only solution to anything happening in the state of Colorado is to add more and more legislation.  Thanks again and stay tuned for upcoming surveys 😊
